Ft. Pickens Summer Season

Ft. Pickens area is open 8am to sunset. Ft. Pickens road is open to pedestrians and bicyclists only. It is a 14-mile round trip to historic Ft. Pickens. The Visitor Center is temporarily closed, but the fort is open for self-guided tours. Ranger Guided Tours are Sundays at 2pm from June 8 to August 10.

Red, White & Blues Week

During the Red, White & Blues week on Pensacola Beach, the Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, will amaze fans with their exhilarating aerobatic maneuvers.

The week kicks off with the Blues flying Circle & Arrival maneuvers at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and continues with a practice session at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The full dress rehearsal begins at noon on Friday. The main event, the Pensacola Beach Air Show, starts at noon on Saturday.

A Taste of the Beach Seafood Festival

The Beach Seafood Festival will be taking place the weekend before the Pensacola Seafood Festival. Pensacola Beach chefs and restaurants will showcase their culinary skills. Each participating business should prepare a signature dish to "taste" in sample portions. There will be bands and drink specials. Retail businesses should have outside kiosks. Maps will be distributed at the Visitors Information Center and Beach businesses.

Celebration starting with Friday the 13th Party. Saturday events include Irish Bake Sale & a Catch a Leprechaun childrens event & Jig Dancing Contest. On Sunday, March 15th, Irish Entertainers will be on the Island along with a Scavenger Hunt. On Tuesday, March 17 - There will be the famous St. Paddy's Day Pub Crawl with the proceeds going to Covenant Hospice. There will be a Corned Beef and Cabbage cook off and a Green Bikini Contest. Islandwide
