Gulf Oil Spill Update

Visitor Testimonial, June 7, 2010

I am the Mayor of Pittsburg, Texas and am vacationing in Pensacola Beach, Florida. I wanted to comment on the oil that has been reported arriving on shore in Pensacola Beach. The water is not perfect, but we are having a good time and are still able to enjoy our vacation and the kids can swim and build sand castles and still hunt crabs at night and sea shells on the beach. I think people need to know that it isn't perfect, but it is still far from a disaster for those vacationing here currently. I am glad we made the trip and I am glad we are here and will be here until the 12th.

Dr. Dive Scuba Diving Report June 6, 2010 - (Clean, healthy Red Snapper and Amberjack)

Dr. Dive Just got back from the Russian Freighter (The Russian Freighter/San Pablo is located about nine miles SSE of Pensacola Pass). Great day on the Gulf. Vis was good, lots of highly endangered Red Snapper, some AJ's and the divers brought dinner home. Great conditions and no oil to be found on-site or on the trip out or in. We be Diving.
